Abstract

The thesis deals with modernism and post-modernism and the ways these trends are expressed in architecture. As examples of modernist architecture were chosen the Guggenheim Museum in New York and Fallingwater by Frank Lloyd Wright and as examples of post-modernist architecture the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao and Santa Monica house by Frank Owen Gehry.
