The European Space Agency (ESA) is asking space scientists to simplify their plans for the Rosetta cometary rendezvous mission which is due for launch in 2003. The agency wants the spacecraft to carry just one probe for release onto the surface of comet Wirtanen, instead of two as currently planned. The decision was made partly as a consequence of the failure of Ariane 5 in June.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
