Abstract

Brain metabolite levels were measured by proton magnetic resonance spectroscopy (MRS) and included N-acetylaspartate (NAA), creatine (Cr), choline (Cho), and lactate and the ratios NAA to Cho and Cr (NAA-Cho-Cr), NAA-Cr, NAA-Cho, and Cho-Cr.
