Abstract

By determining levels of total testosterone, free testosterone, calculated free testosterone in blood and androgen index was studied the level of androgenization in 64 men with idiopathic pathospermia, in 16 patients with hypogonadism and 21 healthy men. It was established that the determination of the level calculated free testosterone is a more sensitive method for the diagnosis of androgen deficiency in young men compared with the reference values of immunoenzyme determination of free testosterone. It was shown that the level of free testosterone determined by immunoenzyme method lower 31.0 pmol / l can be used as diagnostic criteria for androgen deficiency in patients with idiopathic pathospermia
