Abstract

We are interested in developing sensors based on impregnated reagents which change with pH or alkaliion concentration such as pH reagents. The first system that we have investigated in detail is a pH sensor based on impregnated phenolphthalein. Phenolphthalein are readily inpregnated to acetyl-cellulose memberane. This system was chosen because it works very quickly with alkaliaquerious.
