Abstract

Smart distribution grid(SDG) is the development direction of modern power grid with self-healing, reliable, high quality, high efficiency, compatibility, interactive features. It is the research focus of the smart grid and ensuring reliable power and quality power supply. This paper covers the concept, significance, development situation at home and abroad. It also discovers many research problems when we pay more attention to this project. Finally, it introduces the trend and new technology in the development of smart distribution grid.
