Business Intelligence in Administratia Publica (Business Intelligence in Public Administration)

Romanian Abstract: In aceasta lucrare, se incearca argumentarea, in contextul domeniului administratiei publice, a conceptului de BI, in special prin prisma unor tehnologii specifice: depozite de date si instrumente OLAP, foi de calcul tabelar si tabele pivot, grafice si indicatori de alerta, precum si cartograme sau cartodiagrame GIS. Scopul este mai degraba unul practic si argumentativ, decat unul pur teoretic. Din acest motiv lucrarea va abunda in figuri si exemple concrete. English Abstract: This paper tries to argument the Business Intelligence concept within the context of public administration, by making use of its specific technologies: Data Warehouses and OLAP tools, Spreadsheets and Pivot Tables, Graphs and Alerts and also GIS Maps. The purpose it is rather a practical and a argumentative one than pure theory. Because of this reason the paper will have many figures and examples.
