Abstract

3D surface seismic, VSP and crosswell seismic data play an important role in the field of reservoir geophysics, the characteristics analysis and matching of different seismic data are very important for the integrated research of these data. It is feasible to build the relations and differences among these different seismic data according to the seismic wave modeling and real data analysis. With the finite difference modeling of the wave equation, the different observation style and source frequencies are used, the RTM is used to get the migration profile respectively for surface seismic data, VSP and crosswell seismic data. The modeling result shows that the surface seismic data, VSP and crosswell seismic data represent the seismic reflection characteristics of undersurface geologic body within different observation range, frequency range and resolution. The time-frequency analysis of these traces shows that the borehole seismic (such as VSP and crosswell seismic) data can provide quite reliable high frequency information, which is very important to improve the resolution of surface seismic data. These characteristics are also found in the actual seismic data. The relation of the frequency-spectrum range among different seismic data is the basis of the joint inversion and application. For the field data, the matching of different seismic traces can be achieved with the precise calibration with the same well logging data. The matching of different seismic reflection characteristic with the accurate T-D relationship is most important for the real seismic data, which is the foundation of the joint inversion, integration research and application.
