Abstract

In this paper, with the help of generalized hypergeometric functions of the type 4 2 F , an extension of the Jacobi polynomials is established and a number of generating functions similar to those of classical Jacobi polynomials have been proved. Mathematics Subject Classification: 33C45, 05A15
