Abstract
ABSTRACT. The Romanian Carpathians, part of the Alpine-Carpathian system-Himalayan mountain is distinguished by its performance characteristics to human values, demographic, ethnic homogeneity, biodiversity and rural habitat types. To all these, it is added the ancestral values preserved in popular culture, the creativity and folk customs in Carpathian civilization in general. Analysis of geographical sources of population and housing censuses offered in Romania (preliminary census of October 2011) shows a perfect space traits identified by physical and economic unit. The frequency of the elements underlying the performance Romanian Carpathians, rightly justifies recognition in the Romanian village typology of the Carpathian village type.Keywords: anthropogenic performance, ethnic hearth, ethnic homogeneity, the Carpathian village type.The Romanian Area-Priority Segment of the Alps-Carpathian-Himalayan MassifThe Carpathians system in its own area takes place on a length of about 1500 m between Vienna Basin to Timok Valley (the border between Bulgaria and Serbia).The Romanian Carpathians area occupies1 approx. 70,000 sq.km, same amount area as it is held together by two European countries, namely Belgium and Switzerland.Compared to the Romanian area, the Carpathians hold approximately 29% of the territory, being almost equal ratios spaces of plains, hills and plateaus.Without ignoring the degree of humanization of the other components of the Alpine-Carpathian-Himalayan, we noticed that the dominant note of this mountain system (bypassing organic unity historic, nature, geographic and economic) is a powerful and potentially complex habitat.A summary cartographic representation (Fig. 1 The position of Romanian Carpathians), shows that the Carpathians system, as a whole, since antiquity configure a perfect identity between the natural and ethno-state formations of central area southeast Europe.Such identity is brilliantly illustrated by highlighting the ancients inhaerent montibus Dacians. Such certification illustrates that Carpathians the Romanian area, clearer Romanian Carpathians, in their whole appearance of Corona montium long before the advent of today's Romania neighboring populations in the central European and Balkan area, acted as a refuge and conservation populations of more recognized and recorded in the history and geography of Europe.A famous French anthropologist notes in his work, in conjunction therewith, that Il est probable gu' a la periode neolitique, dans le vaste triangle, vivaient des individus qui etaient, en majorite de la meme qualite antropologique, et rien me un empeche de suppose que ces sont ces habitans, au moins une grand parti d'entre eux, qui plus tard recurent le nom de daces et de Getes.Following this idea, a well known French geographer demonstrated that La Romanie forme un grand bloc, dans l'ansamble hommogene, de la plaine pannonique an Dniester, et de la haute Tisa an bas Dannube, (un grand bloc) de parler roumain, plus pure sur le montagne et les colline.It is undoubtedly argue that the Romanian Carpathians have always been a place of the Romanian ethnicity.Several of map photographs have certifed the permanence and stability hearth of the Romanian ethnicity, territorial and political unity of the same people - the Romanian people.2Affirming the demographic and historical unity of the Romanian people, Castaldo gives real meaning to the Romanian Carpathian mountain crown unit.
