Emergency and disaster preparedness

Disasters occur somewhere in the world every day. Simply by watching the evening news or reading a newspaper we can readily find news of disasters hitting individuals, companies, and entire countries. Disasters take various forms, ranging from natural disasters such as tornadoes to manmade disasters such as workplace violence, which happens on a far too frequent basis. No matter what type of disaster, the results are typically the same — substantial loss of life, money, assets, and productivity.
