The key to success in modern business is being able to create business process to automate value chains, and to modify these processes as business requirements change. Focusing on person-to-process interactions, innovation in enterprise architecture (EA), comes from event-driven service-oriented architecture (EDSOA), business process management (BPM), business rules management (BRM) and business process monitoring (BAM). Business process analysis (BPA) is intended for enterprise to analyse and document complex processes, improve efficacy and effectiveness, increase quality and become more agile. In this paper the position and role of BPA within entire BPM discipline and improvement of process and service understanding have been investigated and established.
