Abstract
The analysis of the capitalist superstructure should start with achieving clarity on the precise sense in which the capitalist state and ideology are capitalist. This, of course, requires that I have already clarified the meaning of ‘capitalism’. Since this was the primary aim of the previous five chapters, I now proceed from this foundation to analyse the capitalist superstructure. In order to do this it is necessary to clarify the relation between the economic, the political and the ideological at each of the three levels of analysis. These keywords were added by machine and not by the authors. This process is experimental and the keywords may be updated as the learning algorithm improves.
