This chapter discusses a plausible view that ‘pleasure’ stands for a feeling with which all people are familiar with. The word ‘feeling’ has a number of uses, while the word ‘pleasure’ does not stand for a feeling that is determined by similarity of feel, nor for a more elusive tone-quality of feeling.
