Abstract

This chapter presents the fact that one of the most toxic of all emotions is resentment. Often, resentment occurs as a result of a loss and loss is the name of the game for traders. If a trader feels that he or she is not responsible for the loss, resentment will often follow. Some negative experiences may result in serious and/or permanent changes. Feeling resentment is like taking poison to kill the person who wronged an individual. Letting go of any resentment allows a person with a terrible loss to move on to a new life, to future happiness and success. The act of letting go allows a person to drop all the emotional baggage in a single act. Letting go requires an attitude shift and that attitude shift requires a commitment to examining one's true beliefs and replacing them with life enhancing ones.
