Abstract
The debate about the open plan office seems to percolate on slowly each year without ever going anywhere interesting, let alone come to any sort of conclusion. Those in favour of open plan point to greater opportunities to communicate and collaborate in more open environments; those against argue that open plan results in more interruptions and a reduced ability to concentrate.
