Abstract

The problem of increasing the range of supersonic aircraft by the use of twisted and cmbered wings is considered, primarily for the purpose of developing a rational method for the selection of a design lift coefficient.Relations and curves are presented from which a suitable selection may be made, de~ending on the relative importance of maximum range and top speed.q .
