Abstract

The circumstances behind the proceedings before the Professional Conduct Board, which found a solicitor guilty of unsatisfactory professional conduct, are described. The activities of the solicitor which highlighted a conflict of interest when acting on behalf of more than one client in a transaction found him guilty of violating Rule 8.2 of the Professional Conduct Rules.
