Abstract
Efficient utilization of renewable energy sources (RES) is one of the major concern in present power sector scenario which can satisfy the energy requirements of an area in proper and sustainable manner. The efficient utilization of RES helps to reduce the total cost of energy generation. The main objective of the present work is to examine the efficient utilization of different modes of RES like hydro power, wind energy, solar energy (e.g. photovoltaic) and pumped-storage power to meet the current energy requirements.
