Abstract
According to the characteristic of IS-IS protocol, this paper introduces a hierarchical method of conformance test for IS-IS protocol. The method can be used to cut off the dependency of test cases and reduce the influence of non-conformance in testing procedure, and increase the reliability and coverage of testing. Test of some different implementations of IS-IS protocol is accomplished. An example is given.
