Displacement geometries along graben bounding faults in the Horn Graben, offshore Denmark

The Horn Graben is a N-S striking graben structure cutting the E-W striking system of the North Sea High. It is suggested that the Horn Graben is a "single-standing extensional structure', a result of a general E-W extension of Europe due to the interaction of the opening of the Tethys and the Northern Atlantic Ocean during the Triassic. Its relationship with the adjacent major structures is thus causal and not physical. -from Authors
