Upper eyelid entropion

The examination of the patient should be methodical. A record of the patient’s corrected visual acuity and a basic ophthalmic examination should form part of the assessment of every patient presenting with an eyelid, orbital or lacrimal disorder. The detailed examination methods for various conditions are discussed in the ensuing chapters. Any ancillary laboratory or imaging investigations should be selected on the basis of the clinical evaluation of the patient and not simply performed as a blind “work-up.”
