Abstract

This paper presents the synthesis of a universal biquadratic transimpedance filter using current conveyors. One is constructed with a multi-output current differencing buffered amplifier (MOCDBA), a positive type differential-difference current conveyor (DDCC+), a current feedback amplifier (CFA) and a positive type second-generation current conveyor (CCII+), to eliminate the redundant terminals. The filter employs four types of active device with grounded resistors and grounded capacitors to realize the lowpass, highpass and bandpass responses. Hspice simulations confirmed these analysis in this paper.
