Green Human Resource Management (HRM) has gained its unique position in the recent research, since the awareness towards environmental management and sustainable development has gradually increased in the world. The purpose of this study is to explore the Green Human Resource Management Practices (GHRMP), from the light of existing theoretical and empirical research done by the scholars in this field. The study is significant, since it aimed at widening the understanding of GHRMP to the business world. Since the business world is attentive in environmental sustainability, this study will illuminate the role of HRM activities in supporting and driving this end. To achieve these objectives a systematic review of literature was conducted in number of databases using an archival method. The study highlighted that diverse functions of HRM are capable of contributing the environmental sustainability. Starting from job designing, job analysis, human resource planning, recruitment, selection, induction, performance evaluation, training and development, reward management, discipline management, health and safety management and employee relations have inherent capacity for greening the world.
