Abstract
Results of a field trial conducted on the efficacy of different pesticides in controlling citras rust mite, Phyllocoptruta oleivora (Ashm.) revealed that man-cozeb (0.5%) was the best chemical against the mite. The other chemicals in their descending order of efficacy are monocrotophos, diofol, phosalone, wettable sulphur, mitac, triazophos and profenophos. The least effective are the botanicals viz., azadiractin (0.5%) and Anona seed extract (0.5%).
