Abstract

The bachelor thesis focuses on building an application using Visual Basic for Applications programming language within Microsoft Office Excel and on the theoretical aspects of this development environment. First chapter encompasses basic information about Visual Basic for Applications programming language and depicts evolution of Microsoft Office until present times, emphasizing Microsoft Office Excel. Second chapter describes Visual Basic for Applications programming language and explains its components. Finally, the third chapter deals with the specific application and thoroughly analyses parts of its source code.
