Abstract
Patients with venous thromboembolism (VTE) associated with temporary risk factors are recommended to receive 3 months of oral anticoagulation therapy. However, most research on the optimal duration of anticoagulation therapy for VTE has focused on patients with deep-vein thrombosis.
