Abstract
At the parish level, different congregations adopted relatively different styles of worship, generally united by the texts of the Book of Common Prayer. The Anglican Communion is relatively unique among worldwide churches, in the sense that its structure is primarily informal. The broad church movement was affected by larger societal population movements. All of the bishops of the Anglican Church in North America who were diocesan bishops in the Episcopal Church prior to the formation of the Anglican Church in North America were invited to the last Lambeth Conference. American Archbishop Louis Falk of the Anglican Catholic Church, which eventually merged with the American Episcopal Church to form the Anglican Church in America, became the first Primate of the Traditional Anglican Communion. In 2007 this body petitioned the Roman Catholic Church for full corporate union. Keywords: Anglican Church; Episcopal Church; Louis Falk; North America; Roman Catholic Church; Traditional Anglican Communion; worship
