The process of regulation and liberalization of the Bulgarian energy market is considered in the paper. The forms of regulation and the instruments of its impact on th? sector development are clearly presented. As well, it is shown the meaning, preconditions, stages and specific features of the Bulgarian energy market of liberalization. A lot of recommendations about further energy market policy are given and widely motivated.
