Abstract

66 patients were subjected to nitrous oxide narcosis after various types of premedication. The premedication with phentanyl and seduxen or droperidol proved to be more effective than the routine premidication. The authors consider endotracheal narcosis with nitrous oxide combined with fractional injections of phentanyl and seduxen of phentanyl and droperidol to be a method of choice.
