Investigation on medicinal plant resources in Hainan rubber forests.

【Objective】 The resources of medicinal plant in rubber forests of Hainan Province were studied to provide scientific references for protection and utilization of medicinal plant resources.【Method】 Using the methods of field investigation,data collection,samples collection and identification,the types and distribution of understory plant species in rubber forests in Hainan were classified and analyzed.【Result】 The results showed that there were 102 families,288 genera,and 415 species of medicinal plants in rubber forests including 1 family,1 genera,and 1 species of gymnosperms,11 families,14 genera and 20 species of pteridophyte and 90 families,273 genera,and 394 species of angiosperm.There were 331 species of medicinal plants in which whole plants could be used as medicine,accounting for 78.8%.Antifebrile medicinal plants were the most,which accounted for 39.3%.【Conclusion】 The species in the rubber forests are considerably rich.Considering the actual situation in Hainan,forest medicine integration pattern should be established and enhanced so as to advance the development of south medicine industry in Hainan Province.
