Abstract

A case of crossed cerebellar atrophy after cranial trauma, with a 12-year neuroradiological follow-up is reported. This uncommon cerebellar degeneration has previously been reported only as an autopsic finding. It results from a lesion affecting the contralateral cerebral hemisphere. The role of different cerebro-cerebellar pathways is discussed.
