A Case of Multiple Granular Cell Myoblastoma of the Tongue.

A case of multiple granular cell myoblastoma of the tongue is reported; the patient, a woman of 78 years, presented a tumor of the tongue, the characteristic of which differred very much from these of the typical granular cell myoblastoma. In fact, all the typical clinical features of granular cell myoblastoma, like lardaceous aspect, adhesion to the mucosa and absence of ulceration failed to be present. Moreover, this seems to be the only case, reported in the literature, with multiple lesions on the same organ.
