Abstract

Experiments were conducted on mongrel albino mice; a study was made of the role played by the complement in the development of passive skin anaphylaxis after Ovarie and the so called reverse direct allergic (cytotoxic) reaction. Preliminary animal decomplementation 3 hours before the reactions were conducted failed to alter the intensity of Ovarie reaction, and decreased the intensity of the reverse direct allergic reaction significantly. Reproduction of Ovarie reaction and of the reverse direct allergic reaction on animals 24 hours after the decomplementation did not influence the manifestation of both reactions.
