The disease was a condition that normal functions of human being were damaged. However, the recognition of disease cannot be limited to the level of physiology and pathology. In fact, under different ages and different social background, even for a same disease, the recognition of its essence, the process, the understanding and attitude for the patient had various abundant and profound cultural representation and cultural connotation.
