Abstract
Previous studies have shown that the Obsidian Pozzolana of Sabaloka area possesses a high Pozzolanacity index. Therefore, it was chosen to study the effect of its degree of fineness on the compressive strength of lime/Pozzolana mortar. The investigation revealed that the strength is directly proportional to the degree of fineness; the finer the pozzolana , the higher the strength obtained. It revealed also that the degree of fineness outweighed the lime/pozzolana ratio.
