Abstract
Using peroxidase method, additional evidence has been obtained on the existence of contralateral retinofugal projections from Bellonci nucleus, thalamic geniculate body, basal optic tract nucleus, posterior thalamic and pretectal nuclei, and midbrain tectum. Ipsilateral retinofugal fibres were followed up to the rostral thalamus (Bellonci nucleus and thalamic geniculate body), midbrain tectum and basal optic tract nucleus.
