A new species, Limacella taiwanensis is described and illustrated.It is characterised by its brownish yellow to yellow pileus with a blackish brown disc, a subviscid stipe with a subglobose base, the absence of an annulus, and small, verruculose basidiospores.It belongs in the section Limacella.
