Abstract

Biodegradation of polychlorinated biphenyls (PCB) in bacterial presence was studied. Connection between energy of intermediate formation and easiness of biodegradation PCB was determined. Explanation of PCB biodegradation depending on the number and position of chlorine atoms in molecule was given.
