Abstract

The performance of dual diversity systems in the presence of Weibull and shadowing over two uncorrelated branches will be presented in this paper. The performance measures of fading communication systems such as probability density function (PDF) of signal to noise ratio (SNR), Amount of fading (AF), and Outage probability (Pout) will be calculated and graphically represented for Maximal Ratio Combining. The results will be shown graphically for different signal and fading parameters values. They will be compared with respect to the kind of shadowing which is with log-normal or Gamma distribution.
