Abstract

Sputum cytology is dominant for early detection of lung cancer especially in cases the diagnostic procedures should be less troublesome for the patient. Sampling multiple specimens does not trouble the patient but increases the accuracy of the investigation. A combination of sputum cytology with chest x-ray-diagnostic is successful and therefore to be recommended.
