Abstract
Taking in consideration that there are quite a few matters of debate in treating cholestatic forms of viral hepatitis, the paper analyzes the experience gained with the treatment of patients presenting with the above-mentioned manifestations. Presented in the paper is a detailed scheme of treatment in different variants of cholestasis in viral hepatitis. The need for the use of neutral drugs for the affected liver is pointed out. Conservative treatment in extrahepatic cholestasis against the background of viral hepatitis may in a number of cases result in recovery from the malady without surgical intervention. Our strategies in therapeutic attempts in the above-named medical conditions are to be directed to the cause of cholestasis.
