Presentation of CaseA 59-year-old woman was admitted to the hospital because of a sore throat and fever.She was well until one month earlier, when she began to experience increased fatigue. Three days before admission a left-sided sore throat developed, with malaise, discomfort in the left side of the neck, dysphagia and odynophagia; she observed that the pain was more severe when she opened her jaw or swallowed.
