Abstract
Concepts of regional characteristics and urban wetland park were introduced, contribution factors and creation principles of regional characteristics of urban wetland park analyzed. And the creation techniques were introduced from three perspectives: respecting regional natural environment and loci features, inheriting regional cultures and showing spirit of the place, applying materials and technology reasonably. Flowing Water Park in Chengdu City, Sichuan Province, Xiazhu Lake Wetland Park in Huzhou City, Jinghu National Urban Wetland Park in Shaoxing City, and Xixi Wetland in Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province, were taken for example to specify techniques of creating regional characteristics of urban wetland park.
