Abstract
On farm trails and front line demonstrations were conducted during kharif 2013–14 and 2014–15 on improved variety of onion on the farmers ’fields in Rajgarh District under Malwa Plateau Zone. Krishi Vigyan Kendra Rajgarh, has carried out on farm trials and front line demonstrations on different farmers ’fields through easily technology adopting farmers. On the basis of all farmers ’average results indicated that higher yield (161.77 q/ha.) and net monetary return ( 1, 44, 930/ha.) of kharif onion was obtained under recommended package of practices, which was 22.69% higher as compared to farmers ’practices. Where as in farmers ’practice, yield of onion was 131.85 q/ha. and net profit was 90, 540/ha. only.
