The work described in the report is part of a larger programme aimed at updating estuary regime processes. The ultimate aim of which is to produce a tool which will enable a prediction to be made of long term estuary behaviour and evolution due to engineering works, climate change, drainage, water abstraction disposal of pollutants etc.
