Abstract

Most of the researches are based on the conversation analysis,turn-taking analysis,and there are a few researches on drama from the perspective of foregrounding stylistics.This essay will combine linguistics and stylistics theories for analyzing the first absurd play of Harold Pinter-The Room,trying to create a new mode to study the stylistic features of drama text.
