Abstract

This dataset provides monthly income from freight on the Virginia and Tennessee Railroad from 1852 to 1854 and 1858 to 1859 as given in the annual reports of the company. The annual reports broke out up and down freight separately. 1852 is October-December only. 1858 is July -December only. 1859 is January-June only.
