Abstract
Purpose: To analyze the relation between the optic disc size and the thickness of the peripapillary retinal nerve fiber layer (RNFL) in normal subjects and patients with primary open-angle glaucoma (POAG) by means of scanning laser polarimetry (Nerve Fiber Analyzer II), Methods: Scanning laser polarimetry was performed in 120 normal subjects (120 eyes) and 80 patients (80 eyes) with POAG.
