Abstract
Distribution of the pairs of amino acids i, i + 1 in alpha-helical, beta-sheet and random coil regions from 46 globular proteins comprising 8115 amino acid residues was analyzed. Statistical analysis of the data excludes null hypothesis about random pairing of the amino acid residues i, i + 1 in beta-sheet and random coil configurations. The distribution of the amino acid pairs, i, i + 1 in alpha-helical configurations does not differ from the random pairing.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
